The fountain at the washhouse in Hunawihr

One day, when the winegrowers of Hunawihr were unable to produce a harvest, Sainte Hune performed a miracle by making the wine flow from the fountain that has since borne her name. By the 1520s, the village was an important place of pilgrimage, before Protestants dispersed the saint's relics two decades later.
